“Well Kept Site”

Another super campsite to rest up during our trip around Ireland. Handy for Adare town and taxi service is only a phone call away if you want a night out. Adare Manor Hotel looks wonderful but you can't get to it if you are not a guest which is a pity. There are plenty of good restaurants and pubs. Adare Camping's owner Hugh is a great host and his little donkey and pony will keep both adults and children entertained. Also there is a playground on site.

“A wee gem.”

I got a good vibe about this place as soon as we arrived and were warmly greeted by a wonderful women who appeared to managing the campsite. We stayed here two nights because my husband wanted to visit the Flying Boat museum at Foynes (excellent museum - even the kids loved it!) and I wanted to see Adare (Ireland's prettiest village). It is a lovely small campsite with all the facilities you would need. The camper's kitchen had a fridge and freezer which were very useful. The kid's loved Jessie the dog, the donkey and the pony as well as the playpark. We had a lovely evening stroll along the farm walk and although we didn't get the opportunity to use the hot tub on this occasion I'm sure we will use it on our next visit. Next time we are in this part of Ireland we would definitely stay here again as it is a wee gem.

“Adare Camping”

We travelled from Donegal and Camped around Ireland and we rated this as the number one site, everything was spotless and working - camping area with well cut grass and plenty of space between campers. Very friendly owners. would recommend this place to anybody. I think it was e19 for tent x 2 pax.

“Peaceful Site”

We stayed here for two nights on our way to the Ring of Kerry. Site is easily accessed by caravan or motor home. We have stayed here before and have always found it clean, well maintained and quiet. Convenient for visiting Limerick City, Bunratty Castle, Foynes Flying Boat Museum and is a good stopover on the way south. Adare is a lovely village with plenty of shops and is about 5 minutes drive away.

“A Nice Site”

This was a great site for a stop over. The owner is very friendly and approachable. Everything was very clean. Showers cost 50cents but for this you get 7 minutes of hot water. It is a very peaceful site and was particularly quiet at night. There is also a hot tub which the owners will put on for you on request. we didn't use it but saw some other people enjoying it one night. The site is a short drive from Adare. We had intended to use the site as a stop over but liked it so much we stayed 2 nights and visited Bunratty Castle on the second day. People we met on a different campsite had recommended it to us and we weren't disappointed. Would definitely use it again.

“Nice Site”

This site had nice pitches and the wardens were very friendly. The showers were big and took 50c coins. There was plenty of hot water. The laundry had 2 washers and 2 dryers. It is about a 40 minute walk into Adare. Adare is a very pretty village with thatched cottages and very busy with tourists during the day. You can't go round Adare castle by yourself. You have to go on a guided tour. There are quite a few traditional pubs in town. We ate at both Bill Chawkes and Pat Collins. The boiled bacon and cabbage was delicious.

“Nice Family Site with Enjoyable Walks.”

Well located to enjoy the delightful Adare town, which has many good places to eat. Nicely laid out site, with mature grounds, which were maintained to a reasonable standard. Shower block was acceptable & all other facilities were usable. Nice walks around the farm & local countryside, good play area for children with open spaces for ball games & dog friendly site. Our one night there coincided with a Caravan Club rally, so the site was busy, the owner did apologies for any late night noises, which he said his wife had to deal with. I have to say, we heard nothing. Staff/owner approachable & friendly.
